[Platformer Tutorial]

Great tutorial for beginners

Its got all the basic stuff, it's really useful actually. I tried out a few things n' they worked. Jawsome.

Presentation was a bit dire though (remember, this is a flash, not a word document) and the song made me want to shoot myself ;-)

Holy crap

Great stuff. Easy to get into, hard to get out of. Really detailed for a defense game. Love the comicbook style graphics and all the different crap you can do (as well as being able to purchase different bases) and the little cutscenes are great.

The evil Tom guy is the best No. 2 henchman ever. lol.

Being able to draw your own ship was ACE. More flash authors need to put customization in their games like that!!

However, the actual game wasn't much more than a slow-paced asteroids clone : ( it feels like a lot is missing from it in a way. missons and stuff would have been cool!

simple, challenging, sweet idea, very engaging. If you make a sequel it'd be nice to see more obstacles than just spikes and boulders, but yeah. fun.
