Holy crap

Great stuff. Easy to get into, hard to get out of. Really detailed for a defense game. Love the comicbook style graphics and all the different crap you can do (as well as being able to purchase different bases) and the little cutscenes are great.

The evil Tom guy is the best No. 2 henchman ever. lol.

I don't see why people are complaining about it being a gallery shooter when that's what you described it as : /

Great coding by Psy, very responsive and of course edds graphics have that usual silly appeal. I was expecting moving/dramatic stages though, which would have been awesome, but loved the little easter eggy bits that you put in for fun (another reviewer said these should be linked to achievements or somethin. bollocks to that, secrets are just things you stumble upon, not something you scramble feverishly to unlock)

if there's a few minus points they'd have to be for a) repetetiveness (check out the Point Blanc titles, they pull off the shooting gallery concept mixed with wario ware style zanyness/variety) and b) the shotgun not being auto-reloading (it also felt too slow in comparison to the sometimes overwhelming amount of baddies)

but yeah, great time killer, well put together, nice effort by both of you.

Wish i had the time on my hands to blast through it all now, but I just played the first say 15 minutes and fucking loved it. Metroid + Shift = awesome. Glad you stuck to the 'simple but effective' stylings and the usual mindfuckery ;-)

nice clean presentation, music that somehow doesnt get on my nerves, and some really nice puzzles. I'd say the challenge picks up around the 16th level.
