Meh same old same old.

The make-your-own sprite thing at the start was great stuff, loved it.

Everything else was generic, predictable, usual sprite/video game parody garbage that we've seen a million times (which is why it's declining in popularity - same shit, different format pretty much every week)

too many sketches relied on that 'random' humour that stoned 14-year-olds find funny (luckily for you guys, this is Newgrounds' core audience), the only clever/funny one was the Punch Out bit with the steroids.

All of you are pretty damn good at flash, the F-Zero one looked ace even if it was ruined by a shitty joke, so why not put it to some use and make something that isn't a 'random' sprite-based video game sketch show from 2004?

that was

actually really good, great interpretation of all the characters and the voices were spot on. Probably the best animation I've seen from you too.

Really generic.

Boring graphics, a script from what could be like 2004, pretty badly recorded sound (ever hear of a popper stopper?), jokes I've seen a million times before, Master Chief and friends acting like a bunch of teenage students, blah de blah

It wasn't all bad though, despite the stiff animation the graphics were clean enough, and pretty nicely put together. Also, the voice acting was alright too. It's just nothing different to what I've been seeing on NG in the past six years.

Snow-Fox responds:

For the graphics, I wanted to have it extremely accurate to the mission, So that is why they are bland, but for the reason that I wanted them accurate. As for stiff animation, Its true, Its extremely hard to get tweened animation to not look stiff. Other than that, your kinda right about the script, I stole parts from my older scripts which I made in 2006 XD

Haha that was cute

I always pronounced it "Zay-kee" because it went with Spacey =(

Gerkinman responds:

I like the way you think

haha

Nobody pulls the old 'game worlds are freakier than real life' jokes as well as you do arin.

Anyways nice little animation, i love the pastel colours/simple characters and really nice animation. Never watched the original awesome crossing so I wasn't really bothered about whether I'd heard the jokes before. Still just a little on the short side and could have done with some Resetti, and from a writing point of view it would have been miles funnier if there was no dialogue in the last scene, instead just showing a deranged 'you' with a beard, glued to this game.

I keep dishing out 7's goddammit. but hey that's good : )

haha yeah man

crude, disgusting, immature, and absolutely hilarious.

see ya, wouldn't wanna bee ya.

holy god

awesome soundtrack

I'd like to see more of this but it's an impossibility given NG's file size limit, which even a short toon does like this almost breaks : (

Gerkinman responds:

Ill be making some more shorts like this in the future, dont worry ;D

Oh wesley

Lovely drawings and nice matching up to the audio, which wasn't funny but I can't blame you for that. If anything the doodles brought the comedy out of it, and I like how you animated the studio bits as well as wesley's prison escapades. sweet

JohnnyUtah responds:

do you kids even get the movie references you do you just sit there with a smug face

Its cute.

Despite the obviously worser graphics (this being made when you were like 18 and all) I enjoyed this loads more than the Baby one. The scene in the park put an unexpected twist on an old joke n' I laughed : )
