[Sonic the Unstoppable]

Needed to be fasterrr

I guess I didn't see the punchline coming but if Sonic's entire stage romp/fight with 'botnik would have been more hectic and fast-paced, it'd have been much more enjoyable. Also, the writing style seemed to bop between parody and serious tribute, so I couldn't really tell what was going on.

Also, most people use sprites to their advantage to create new situations that mimic the old games' styles perfectly, making them seem more like bloopers - whereas this seemed like I was watching someone play Sonic for a bit.

Still it wasn't as horrifically juvenile as most sprite movies so thumbs up in that respect. Don't take the score too harshly ;-)

the cliche'd anime character designs (eyepatch!?) really clash with the distasteful humour. It's like they're there because they look cool or something. krunk's design didn't reflect his personality at all.

maybe i've watched a few too many 'college age idiots sit around being dicks to each other' series so this didn't really do anything for me. graphics were mega nice though . Also, nice surprise to see the nerd guy was a complete asshole instead of the usual submissive dork archetype. that was sweet.

voice acting was pretty nice, cycons fratboy jabberings probably being the most well acted with otacon or whatever his name is sounding a bit forced.

its watchable but not amazing ;-)

Nice animation, bright character designs, one of the few good vg parodies of the year apart from not-the-FFXII and The Plumber. great stuff.

they should have done kefka's theme though ; )

[Wii love Brawl comedy]

Whaaaa?

It's more like "We love Pablo comedy" than "We love Brawl comedy"

Apart from the settings and characters none of the jokes were remotely about the game, its like you just slapped them in there for the sake of it : ( the point about doing a comedy about video games is to well, make them about the actual game. A stand-up show with the characters would be pretty awesome if they were using their own jokes ; )

Humour was completely stolen (but hey at least you admit that), though it did suit the characters in places and you did an alright job with lip sync. Much like phoenix wrong, I can't give you any credit for writing or humour when its not yours.

drawings were really nice though, and you didn't re-use any and it got along at a nice pace. animating to already-done audio is good practice but i think you could do with making your own stuff up ;-)

unfortunately...

I usually love your looping toons but this one lacked that sort of zing. the graphics were nice but the humour gave off this 'trying too hard' vibe. Laughed at Simon's first appearance, that was about it.

i was expecting something a little cruder, but this was quite sweet. Nice fbf mouth animation.
